“Our name is personal. It was born from my fundamental belief that anything is possible when you set your mind to it.

The replacement of the word, ‘see’ with ‘sea’ comes from the passion I have for the beach, and the many analogies that come along with it, when considering what it takes for success to emerge . . . from building resilience when the high tide waters are fierce against you, or gaining confidence as you navigate through the unknown waters as part of your leadership journey.”

Lisa Knapp, PCC

I have always had a passion for coaching C-suite and emerging leaders to achieve extraordinary performance.

With more than thirty years of corporate experience partnering with senior business leaders, I bring proven success in the areas of:

  • executive coaching and partnering

  • talent development and organizational performance

  • change leadership

  • overall strategic human resources and business integration

I retired from Trane Technologies in the spring of 2022, where I served in the chief HR role for their $6B Commercial HVAC Americas business.  In that role, I developed and executed the human capital strategy for the North and Latin America commercial businesses, partnering with the business unit president to do so.  Labor relations, sales training and sales compensation were among the organizations I led.

My time at Trane Technologies offered me the opportunity to partner with many global functional C-suite leaders as well, including finance, legal, product management, engineering, information technology and integrated supply chain. I gained experience leading large change initiatives across both the business and the HR function, where applying talent and succession strategies was a critical success factor.

Prior to Trane Technologies, as HR vice president at Avaya, I partnered with C-suite leaders to develop and execute their human capital strategies. While there, I led executive staffing and recruitment, workforce analytics and effectiveness, and global employee services. Organizational diagnostics and measurement, talent selection and assessment, and operational effectiveness were critical priorities. My prior experience includes various HR leadership roles at Lucent Technologies, AT&T and United Parcel Service.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from College of St. Elizabeth, and a human resources certification from Rutgers University, where I also served on the HR Departmental Advisory Board.

Throughout my years of coaching leaders and as a leader in the human resources profession, I became passionate about neuro-based leadership and behavior-based coaching and I earned credentials as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Over the years, I’ve gained and applied my certification in Hogan 360 and Leadership Forecast Series, Workplace Big Five Profile™, and Brain-Based Coaching from the Neuro-Leadership Institute. I’m also an Authorized Partner to administer Everything DiSC assessments to individuals and organizations.

In my spare time, you will find me spending time with my husband Michael at the beach, reading, creative writing or spending quality time with family and friends.
